Posted by Hickory on May 05 2006 Wondering if anyone could share info. on the ice conditions on the Big 3 of the Richardson (Harding, Birch, and Quartz). Are these lakes still iced to the shore or is there enough water around the edges on any of them to cast a line and possibly wet the old canoe? I'm thinking it might still be a bit early this year, I know most gravel pits around Fairbanks are still iced to the edges. Please let me know if you have info. to offer. Thanks.
