Dan,
Not knowing the area for Silvers all I can do is suggest. Number one, find out where the locals are meeting for coffee and start hanging out there to get to know them. Second is, You have miles of roads there and some fine streams that the roads cross. Get a TOPO map of the areas and start planning.

Flies, Flash Flies, Pink Bunny and Purple egg suckers are the norm here in Bristol Bay. Good Luck,
