Hi Bruce,
Any Kotz bou hunt should include the world class inconnu (sheefish) fishing the Kobuk has to offer.
These anadromus giants reach 40-50 pounds commonly and they are fine eating indeed-much like halibut.  They hit pixie spoons like nothing you've ever seen.
Don't forget the excellent artic grayling fishing there too. Chums and Pike will be present too.
Best of Luck. I did the trip in '98 and its the finest hunt/fish memory I have or probably ever will have.
