Kings off the main track?
Posted by LTG on May 02 2006
I'll be on the Kenai Peninsula the last two weeks of June near Homer.  My goal is to put in the time and the miles to find an out-of-the-way place, void of crowds, which presents an opportunity to sight fish for kings (within a 4-5 hour drive of Homer).

I'm fully aware that asking people to share their secret fishing spots is totally out of the question.  But, I am hoping that someone might give a suggestion or two about which river to try and where to park and leave the rest up to me.  I guess I'm looking a starting point and that's all.

I understand the sensitive nature of my request, thus I recommend corresponding via email.  I can be reached at ltgard@hotmail.com.

Thank you for the consideration.
