Johnson Lake is GREAT Choice!
Posted by SockeyeFever on Apr 27 2006
I have fished Johnson lake a few times, and my dad takes our two daughters (now 10 and 12) there a few times every year. Can fish from shore, but any small boat is much better! There is an area straight across from the campground where you can launch a canoe, foldboat, etc...

Small lures, dry and wet flies, meal worms (sp?)...all works great. On a nice, overcast type day...I think my dad's record was a 100 fish in one day! No...that wasn't in May though - lol!

Both you and your kids will have fun...it's a great little lake!

Best of Luck!
Bryan
