I was wondering if anyone knew how people fish for kings in halibut cove from shore?  I've got the cabin there for a couple of nights, but we're going to be on kayaks.  I'm not sure I want to try to haul in a king on a kayak, but we could paddle anywhere in the cove easily to fish from shore.

(And yes, I'm going to try, but I'm going to put a light leader on so it can't yank my @$$ out of the boat... so I don't expect to land any.)
