Nush regs
Posted by bigred on Apr 23 2006
Single hooks not required highly advised, as it makes releasing fish lots easier; connect a barrel swivel to the split rings of a k-15 kwikfish and attach a 4/0 siwash to the belly and a 5/0 to the tail. never needed herring to catch fish; if you want eggs, keep a hen and cure your own. get some Bob Toman "thumper" spinners- trolled downstream on a flood or slack tide they are dynamite. 2 oz. cannonball weight on a 3-way swivel set up with a 3 foot leader/12 in. dropper fished 35 feet back-17 "pulls"will catch all kinds of fish. guided on the nush in 04 and 05, good luck!
