bush pilot or charter Bethel to Aniak
Posted by bobk on Apr 22 2006
1..I would like to fly from Bethel to Aniak this July. What bush or charter pilot flies this route and what are the fees? 2... Also I will be using Aniak Airguides and would like to know their reliability and safety record. .
3..Also on the Aniak River what wt. fly rods, leaders, and flies would you recommended for everything from grayling to Kings.

4...If you have floated the Aniak, is it worth it to fly to the lake at the head of the river and float the whole river or better to go to Salmon River and spend more time on the middle section. We will leave Aniak on a Sunday to head up river and need to be back in Anchorage by Friday night or NLT Sat AM.We want to fish the most productive water yet have about 5 days to do the actual float trip. Thank you for ANY input on these questions. I am totally new to this forum and am relying on whoever replies for help with my request. Thanks, Bob
