Posted by AlaskanAuthor on Apr 21 2006 I am of the opinion that your lead-headed jig will put it to the very bottom of the stream. The norm is the unweighted fly, leader, and forward lead presentation to put the lead on the bottom, thus allowing the fly to rise somewhat off the very bottom into the zone of the aproaching fish.
