Last year my wife and I caught lots of silvers out of Whittier on July 16th and 17th, so they'll definitely be there by July 28th. Being able to also get into some reds elsewhere would offer some variety, with the added benefit of your uncle being gone a few days before hunting season kicks into high gear. (Unless, of course, you want to try some early-season deer hunting while out in the Sound.
