Suggestions for family fishing in May..
Posted by klmyers on Apr 18 2006
Our family (myself, wife, 7 yr old son, 4 yr old daughter) will be traveling around Alaska in a rented RV from May 15-27.. We want to see some of the sights- but also spend some time catching fish.. We are hoping to eat quite a bit of fish while we're there.. What reccomendations might you all have?  We will likely spend most of our time on the Kenai Pen.. But hopefully make it up to Denali and even Faribanks.  I will plan to buy a copy of the "Highway Angler" when we get up there.  I have a copy of the Milepost and have looked at most of it..  We will probably try our luck at clamming too.
Thanks in advance for your ideas.
