I am looking at booking a halibut charter with LuckyPierre Charters out of Homer, but I am told that references are important when booking charters for halibut.  Can anyone tell me anything about these folks?

One reason we are thinking of using them is that we have a large group and they can take 12-14 people on their F/V Fishbuster vessel.

Is their any disadvantages to fishing from a large vessel with more people?

Does anyone have any good or bad experiences with this outfit?
