Copper River
Posted by skydiver on Jun 20 2003
Paul,

I'll take your advice.  I was planning on going to the Copper River with a group of friends and having a water taxi take us out to a good spot, but just started wondering about whether I should drag my inflatable along.  I've dipnetted the Kenai the last two years out of my inflatable and have decided that's the only way to go, if you can go that way.  Sometimes I motor from the Kenai to Kasilof to dipnet there, too, but there are an awful lot of set nets you have to find your way around and it really isn't worth the trouble.

Scott
