Come on up
Posted by Paul H on Nov 22 2005
A favorite quote of mine is it's better to regret things you have done, than things you haven't done.

I moved up after getting married and having a child, and hence it took us three years longer than if we'd been more care free.  Take advantage of your situation.

Cost of living is high, and depending on where you are in Colorado, it could be much higher, especially housing.  That said, a single guy can get by on much simpler housing than a married or married with kids guy.

Not to discourage you, but there are plenty of taxidermists and nature photographers.  That said, those at top of their game are always in demand.  It is to say that it may take you some time to get established.

Lifes to short to get to the end and have a list of things you'd wished you'd done or places you wished you'd seen.

It'll take a lifetime to see all Alaska has to offer, and I've yet to find another place I'd rather live.
