Alaska Bound
Posted by Snowwolfe on Nov 21 2005
You sound like a good addition to our state. There are many taxidermists here and I am assumming they need good help. But cracking into the wildlife photography business is another matter all together. I do this for a living and to do it well it takes a good bit of time and expenses with inventory, etc. I think our housing prices are high but not as high as most other bigger cities. Around Anchorage a nice home goes for approximately $125-$150 per square foot. Latest survey I read states Anchorage has the cheapest utilities in the USA. No sales tax and no state income tax. We also get billed at a flat rate for water so we can use as much as we want for no additional costs.
