Hello fellow anglers.....
I leave for Anchorage today for my first trip to Alaska, I live in the high country of Colorado and am in the Outfitting business here and have been for some 20 years. I have many friends who have spent time in your neck of the woods visiting and guiding alike. I would like to thank ALL of you who post here as your information has and will prove to be of great value to me during my 9 day stay, not just fishing but seeing the sights and traveling the Denali Kenai area. The updates on fish runs and what is happening are invaluable to traveling anglers. This is going to be a dream trip for myself and my girlfriend (also an avid angler), similar to one we took to New Zealand for the millenium celebration which lasted a month. Not just going to fish but will do the McKinley thing, sea kayak, whales, fly ins and all the rest of the cool stuff Alaska offers....thanks for everyone's help, regards;
