May be different per locale???

A few of the fellas here in our winter home of Forks, WA that fish the local halibut season in May get some black cod fishing for halibut here ... deep water (roughly 400 feet), but not the huge depths. Perhaps they move closer to spawn that time of year?? Not sure ... just a tidbit of info :)

Next: I found them in 50-100+ fathoms Danod Dec 18 2005
