Discovery Channel Canada recently filmed an outstanding video clip on what to do if you go through the ice into cold water.  In the clip, Canadian scientist Dr. Gordon Giesbrecht purposely skis into a hole in the ice, and explains and demonstrates while in the water how to get out.  

With ice fishing getting started around the north, this film clip could be a lifesaver.
