Line Strength
Posted by PastorBob on Nov 08 2005
I have 80 lb Spectra line on my halibut poles but never really got to put it to the test on a big fish. It did seem hard to break off when I got snagged on the bottom. But I did notice that the 20 lb Spectra on my Silver Salmon poles kept breaking and I went back to using good mono and I stopped losing fish. I was really disapointed on how it worked on my salmon poles.
