Hauling in sharks
Posted by NorthRick on Nov 07 2005
When we finally caught a salmon shark last summer, the two of us could not get it in the boat.  Mainly for the reason Akcapt stated the skin sticks to the side of the boat.  Not having a tarp and being close to shore, we tied it off to the side of the boat and towed it into a cove.  We then tied the tail to our dingy and rowed it to the beach for pictures and cleaning.  I think next year well bring a tarp.
