Montana Creek
Posted by HomerAdam on Aug 29 2005
I used to live in Juneau, and we would park at the Brotherhood Bridge and walk along the Mendenhall river to the mouth of Montana Creek (about 10 minute walk).  At first light, you'd get a silver on every cast with a Vibrax.  Another good spot was the camping grounds just west of the ferry terminal and past the picnic area (don't remember the names).  Using Kastmasters, we could pick up a few fish in the evenings.  If you get desperate, DIPAC always had fish swimming around.  Good luck.
