Also the vast majority of Alaskans feel the same way you do about trash and respecting the land. You would not believe the trash laying along our roads around Fairbanks in the spring after the snow melts off from our very long winters. We have a cleanup day where thousands of people volunteer to pick up trash along the roads and streams. A vast majority of it is trash that flies out of uncovered pickups. We have dumpster sites all around our borough and lots of the trash is being hauled to the dumpsters and didn't make it.
