fire

I can't help you on the area as I've never been but I will say they were seeing smoke down into the lower 48 as of last year.  It's extremely smokey here in fairbnks and the fires are quite a ways to th enorth of us.  Visiblitity is between 1/4 and 1/2 mile depending on the winds and the day.  You might contact your charter pilot and ask him about it.  You also might ask if the smoke can effect if he can fly you in.  A hunt last year was canceled due to the smoke that I had set up for months.
