Yukon System
Posted by bakerb on Aug 13 2005
TMan,

There aren't any Trout in the Yukon Drainage.

Besides Northern Pike, the clear-water tributaries of the Yukon River should hold lots of Arctic Grayling and some may have Sheefish (Inconnu).  I don't think you will find many (if any) Salmon through the stretch that you plan to fish.

It is feasible to catch Northern Pike over 40 inches in the area you are going.  Watch the teeth!
