Shot Bear
Posted by B on Aug 03 2005
I do not know the circumstances behind the shot bear, but I will say this, situations such as this lead ADF&G, USF&WS, law makers, and anti-gun groups to jump on a band wagon in regulating sportsmen even further.  Wildlife are a renewable resource (when handled properly) that requires to be maintained.  I hate to say this, but humans and bears may need to be regulated further in these high use areas where bears frequent.

Bears and humans do not get along (this is speaking from a human's perspective)!!!  We can sometimes co-exist for short time periods in a given area, but overall this is the same situation with the same outcome every year.  I am surprised it did not happen sooner this year.

Good luck to the three little bears.  I believe I already know the outcome to that story.
