Seward fishing report
Posted by AKCAPT on May 28 2005
I will make this quick:

Kings - They are being caught off of the beach by snaggers and at the eddge of town by trollers a good two weeks early

Halibut - Despite the weather, halibut fishing remains good. A surprising number of fish being caught in the Res Bay.
Halibut fishing is picking up to the east, but is far from what we are hoping to be the seasonal peak. Limits are the norm now and our boats have averaged atleast a few bigger fish (over 80) each trip with a couple of full on, big fish slaughters already.

So it is looking up for the holiday weekend and beyond.
