backtroll, as we normally do with them. You can also fish stationary in the current from an anchored boat (on that note, please watch general traffic flow in the river as some areas are customarily "rowing" areas with anchoring with other boats around not considered courteous ... upper area does have a no-anchor zone by law).

They can be casted and retrieved (quartered down) with varying amounts of success. In the dirty waters of the Kasilof, I think you'll find that they will move too quickly for a good response from the fish. They tend to work better in cleaner water situations for casting ;) If casting, definitely take off the front hook as they will often tangle when casted with both stock hooks.
