George Lake
Posted by Frank on May 23 2005
I was thinking about fishing George Lake, in between Delta and Tok. I've launched my boat there before so I allready know about all of the hazards associated with that. I was just wondering if the pike fishing is any good. If it doesn't produce a lot of big fish, I'd rather head North. This would just be an easier trip, overall. Being such a large lake, I don't really know where to start fishing. I would guess the more shallow areas and around points. I know that the Upper Tanana has an abundance of grizzly bears so that might be a "bonus". Thanks for any replies.
