Fish Processing
Posted by Steelieguy on May 20 2005
I have a trip scheduled to the Peninsula for two weeks in mid July. I plan on fishing the Kenai for Reds, and Kings.  Also booked a drift boat trip on the Kasilof, and Halibut fishing out of Ninilchik.  My last stop will be in Seward for Silvers.  This is my first trip to Alaska, and I am not sure whether to bring a vacuum sealer or pay to have my catch processed.  If I process my own catch do I want to haul the fillets around from town to town? I wonder whats the most cost effective and efficient way to handle your catch? Any input would be great.

Thanks
Mark
