Tangle Lakes has ample fishing, however it does not hold the same quality and or quantity of fish as in years past.  Pressure has continued to accelerate the decline in that fishery in my opinion.  If you have a little gusto in your bones there are many lakes with-in walking distance i.e. 3 to 4 miles off the Denali Hwgy that offer better Laker fishing.  If you have a canoe and don't mind the work fish the entire Tangle System.

Fish the Ledges where the creeks dump into the lakes.  If you have a fish finder work all the stucture mostly rocks early in the mornings.
