Open eyes and tinfoil...

Even the first-timer (you and your wife), are bound to score on some of the sockeye as you pitch or flip your way to success.
String one up during the day, and before you depart for your B&B scour the river's edge and pick up a few chunks of palm sized drifting wood. Your host will have an outdoor grill, and on low heat you can rig up your foil and use those chunks to smoke your prize.
Stick it in your cooler when it's finished, and carry it down with you to Hope for your streamside lunch as you cast into Resurrection.
What I advise, I have done; and it left me with one of my best rememberances of my AK days. Maybe it will happen to you...
