Airline Rods
Posted by Mark Schlachter on May 14 2005
Hay guys, what are you doing to get your rods checked in with out charge with Alaskan Air, I bring 5 to 6 rods, 3 two piece, 2 one piece all in one tube at 6"6 and for the last year have had to pay for extra baggage coming and going to Cordova or Kodiak! We now leave them at our cabin so we don't have to pay the fee. I have talked to Alaskan several times and have got to know them by name, and let them know that some passengers are not charged. As of my last trip, two weeks ago they were not bending.
Thanks
