Hey AkKings!

AK,

Sounds great! That's pretty much the take I got when researching the area with regards to the fishing. Thanks for the tip on the Yes Bay Lodge guides. I did think of taking a hike down to the lodge area just to check it out since it seems to be so close. So, you really do recommend a motor for the skiff, huh? I was trying to avoid that because of the additional weight on the plane and the additional daily cost. And, you say that it's rough going hiking around the lake? I really did want to try Wolverine creek. I've read that it can be incredible for several species of fish!

Someone replied with a tip that there was a Brownie seen staying close to the area/lake? I know, watch my back and carry pepper spray. These guys don't typically come up to a cabin porch do they? At least this cabin is on a small island. Hopefully too much trouble to swim over to??

Thanks for all of your great info. I'll check into your flight recommendation. Stay tuned...

Best to ya!
