Moose,

This has been discussed before.  There SHOULD be some restrictions placed on some of these smaller streams.  The size of the rivers and population of the fish simply cannot survive the continued armada of fishermen that literally dam the progress of these runs with sheer numbers of legs in the water.

We are the stewards of what is left of Alaska.  I grew up in Idaho.  The runs were completely depleted by dams and overfishing in most of the state.  Only a handful of fish remain.  I would hate to see that occur here.
