You can wade them all and hike around any short bad spots.  Key is to have a pair of spike bottomed boots to wear so you can get traction walking on the backs of all the salmon to get to the trout.  Seriously there are some important items for fishing in S.E. Alaska and POW that you may not find common elsewhere.
