Fly Rod Comparison

I custom make most of the rods I fish, but also own a number of Orvis maunfactured rods.
I have fished Sage, Loomis, Cortland, Damon, Hook & Hackle, St Croix, and a couple of more off the wall brands. I am a light-weight Junkie and my favortie rod is a 6'6" 2w I made about 6 years ago.
Looking into why people would spend $600.00 to $700.00 on certain brand names verses value of some of the less expensive rods out on the market. Orivs comes with an a 25 years warranty, Loomis, and sage offer $50.00 replacement rods, Damon is warrantied against manufactures deffects for the life of the rod etc..........
Just thought I would see where this takes us.
