An Out Post will allow more boats to get out there for sure.  And it will increase the users and could add to the danger.  Scary to think what the fuel will cost out there but I think it will be worth it.  The other thing that keeps people from going out that far is fear of brake down.  Wonder what it would cost to be towed in from out there?  As far as big sea for us from Valdez I think it may be safer because we could go around behind Knight instead of the big water out in front of Montague.

Ive spent quite a bit of time around Green Island.  We love to go out there and explorer but once there were very limited by lack of fuel.  The wife and I would stay out there for weeks at a time if we werent forced to return to port by lack of fuel.  Ive heard there is fuel in Saw Mill bay (Chenega) but not knowing for sure has kept me from going there.  No way we could get back if no fuel was available.
