I run into dreamers like you on ocassion to and from Kodiak, site of the largest crabbing fleet in the world.

And there is nothing wrong in chasing dreams.

I've met some happy and experienced guys, and I've also heard some nightmare tales. Few mistakes are allowed out there, period.
