Snagging tips
Posted by Doug from Anchorage on Aug 11 2004
Jim, For what it's worth, the best advice I can give is wear glasses and don't let your hook sink to far, or you'll snak more rocks than fish (bring lots of leaded hooks). I'm not sure about the attraction angle. I suppose it wouldn't hurt, but be aware you're likley to lose whatever you have on the line. Just watch the crowd. When the fish come by, you'll see people hooking up. That's when to get in the water (if there's room). Good luck!
