Sportsman,

I have never been there past July/August time frame, but I just can not see it being a great trip in Sept.  Fish still moving through the Systems in and around Cordova.  When you get there check out Clear Creek "you will not find it posted on any map".  Lots of Coastal Bears in and around the Copper River Basin.  Ensure you check the Regs.  Streams like Power Creek are closed to Salmon Fishing.  If you have the room consider bringing a small zodiac with a 5 hps for some of the rivers around Eyak Lake.
