[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] Lets do it! Posted by Chris_Stout on Mar 04 2006 I'm game. Fill that skiff full of high flotation air bags or styrofoam blocks, pick a nice thursday or friday and I'll make the crossing with ya in my 19 foot RIB w/ twin 70's. If shit hits the fan we'll pull the plug on your skiff, let the flotation do it's job and tow your boat over there. (If you do your best and pick a nice day you should be fine) But seriously for safety reasons on this type of trip, add flotation so you don't have to lose your boat, and go with someone that has a boat adequate for the crossing. Are you planning to leave the boat there once it is there? I'm interested in exploring that side of the inlet a little bit but I lack the jet boat, wanna play lets make a deal?
