Yeah, I'm quite aware that there is no do it all boat. That really wasn't the point of my question.  My primary use for the boat would be the Kenai and lakes. Just wanted to know if someone had used one of these out in the salt and if so what their experiences were. I'm only an hour away from Deep Creek, so it's quite easy for me to pick my days of when I'd go out.  You pick your days and don't venture too far from shore and there's no need for a 20'+ boat. Although if I were wanting to do a lot of saltwater fishing, I agree that a larger boat would be a much better choice.
