Well, I've done some research on this and figured I'd get some of your opinions on this...folks that have used them.
I'm upgrading to a 4-stroke motor for my underpowered 18 ft Alumaweld center console (currently has a detuned 45 Merc 2-stroke).  I was going to go with a 75 HP Suzuki, but then I read somewhere that the hardware in the lower ends didn't stand up to the salt water very well.  Something about the metal quality and corrosion, even with TLC after use.  I also thought about a Yamaha 4-stroke.
Now I've seen many Yamahas out there and it seems to be the motor of choice with many of the guides on the Kenai.  My buddy also has one and loves it.  I don't know anyone who has a Suzuki.

So whattaya think guys?
