Boat speed
Posted by Cliffhanger on Feb 01 2006
I have a Tohatsu 70hp on my 18 ft skiff and it trolls at 6 mph. That's the slowest I can go. People whose opinion I respect have told me I need to slow down to troll for kings. I'm looking for a good trolling plate to put on the engine. Some have to me manually loaded, while other models are spring loaded only and move up when engine speed is increased.
