[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] stick with the twins Posted by Mel Roe on Jan 24 2006 Something to think about is getting home if one of your engines do quit. I have a 26' Aurora and can only make 8 knots on one of my 115 hondas. The normal speed is 30 knots. I ended up towing a friend who has a 28' aluminum boat that was barely making 2 knots with 2 20hp kickers. The double maintenance is worth every penny when you can still make it home. Take care Previous: Single vs Twins Fish Witch Jan 24 2006 Next: boat 4whlr Jan 23 2006 Message Thread:
