Zipper Repair
Posted by Michael Strahan on Jul 29 2005
You might try one of those "Speedy Stitchers" if you can find one.  It's essentially an awl with a wooden handle that contains a spool of heavy waxed thread.  Failing that, you can use a heavy curved tailor's needle and heavy-duty waxed thread.  After the season, I'd send the tube to AIRE for some professional attention.
