50/35 prop

I don't know the answer to your question, but someone who does may need to know what hp setting you're at. I'm guessing 35hp.  

Also, take a look in your owners manual. It should tell you how much of an rpm difference you'll get by going with a less pitched prop.  I don't remember exactly what my 25hp yamaha book said, but I think it was about a 300-500rpm difference per inch difference in prop pitch.
