Mining info
Posted by Paul H on Jul 12 2005
This is THE source of Alaskan mining info, a great helpful bunch of guys.

I'll just add another voice to the, you really don't know what you're up against and would be better to leave the small boat at home then get yourself in trouble on the Yukon.  It's serious water and requires a serious boat.

Let's just say you breakdown 20 miles from town, and have to walk back.  Putting it mildly, the terrain isn't friendly to foot travel, and there are no roads that you'll hit if you just keep heading in one direction.
