Nulato Sloughs
Posted by Daveinthebush on Jul 12 2005
There is a big island in front of Nulato.  If you head to the north end and stay 300 yards off the island until you hit the opposite shore, down stream 100 yards, there is a slough heading east. A small flat bottom will work great up there.

BUT, carrying a moose out with a 10 hp will be a challange. A 30 hp would be a mininum I'd use.  I have a 17' Lowe Roughneck that I sold in Nulato and it was OK with 2 guys and one moose and a 30 hp Honda.

The rubber boat won't work.  You will have to deflate it every day and pack it up and store it somewhere. If not it will be full of holes quickly.

You might also make it up the North and South branches of the Nulato but a jet unit would be best to try that with.
