I also posted this in the fishing forum to get more info:

We were camping in main bay this weekend and were constatntly swarmed by nasty little flys. I was wondering if any body might know if they are this bad out on the islands or if the only way to get away from them is staying on the boat.  By the way, the silvers were on a rampage just outside of main bay.
